| To all people to whom these presents shall come. John Fitting, one of the heirs and
legal representatives of Henry Fitting, late of West Hanover Township, Dauphin County and
State of Pennsylvania, yeoman, deceased and Benjamin Fitting, another of the Son and heirs
of the said deceased, Henry Fox and Catrina his wife, late Catrina Fitting one of the
daughters and the heir of said deceased, George Zeiters and Margaret his wife, late
Margaret Fitting and another of the daughters of said deceased, Daniel Betz and Mary, his
wife, late Mary Fitting, another of the daughters of said deceased, Phillip Michael and
Susanna his wife, late Susanna Fitting, another of the daughters and heir of the said
deceased, Sends Greetings Whereas the said Henry Fitting in his lifetime by sundry good
conveyances of aforesaid in the law duly had and executed became lawfully seized in his
Demise as of fee, of in and to a certain tract of patented land containing two hundred and
seventy-nine acres and one hundred and forty four perches and allowance for roads situate
in West Hanover township county and state aforesaid bounded by lands of John Geety, Samuel
Finney and others. And being so thereof seized and aforesaid died intestate leaving if one
nine children, to wit, John, George, Henry, Benjamin, Catrina, the wife of Henry Fox,
Elizabeth, the wife of George Geety, Margaret, the wife of George Zeiter, Mary the wife of
Daniel Betz and Susanna the wife of Phillip Michael, Now Know Ye, that the said John
Fitting, Benjamin Fitting, Henry Fox and Catherine his wife , George Zeiter and Margaret,
his wife, Daniel Betz and Mary his wife, Phillip Michael and Susanna his wife for and in
consideration of the sum of Seven Hundred and Thirty Six Dollars to us respectively in
hand paid by the said George Fitting, Henry Fitting and George Geety, and Elizabeth his
wife at and before the sealing and Delivery hereof the receipt whereof they hereby
acknowledge and thereof acquit and forever discharge said George Fitting, Henry Fitting,
George Geety, Elizabeth, his wife, their heirs, executors and administrators by these
presents have and each of them hath remised, revoked and forever quit claim and by these
presents do each and every of them doth remise, release and forever quit claim unto the
said George Fitting, Henry Fitting and George Geety and Elizabeth his wife and their heirs
and assigns, all the estate and share ????parts and dividend right title, interest,
property, claim and demand whatever of these the said John Fitting, Benjamin Fitting,
Henry Fox and Catrina his wife, George Zeiter and Margaret his wife, Daniel Betz and Mary
his wife, and Phillip Michael and Susanna his wife, in law or equity or otherwise
howsoever if ???? or out of all that Misuage? Or tenants and tract of land situate lying
and being in the Township and county aforesaid bounded and limited as follows Viz :
Beginning at a post thence by land of Samuel Forney and John Gety? South twenty four
degrees East one hundred ninety-six perches to a Chestnut tree thence by land of Casper
Heckert South seventy-seven degrees west eighty-five and a half perches to Stones, thence
by other land of the heirs of Henry Fitting, North twenty-two and a half degrees East one
hundred and seventy-nine perches to a post, thence by the same, North , sixty-five and a
half degrees East seventy-nine perches to the place of beginning, containing ninety-five
acres and eighty perches, perches street measure, it being a part of the first above
mentioned tract of land containing two hundred acres and one hundred forty-four perches
and allowance, whereas the same was valued and appraised and divided by the parties to
these presents as will appear by a certain instrument of writing given under these hands
and Seals, state the Twenty Sixth day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand
eight-hundred and twenty-five reference these unto being had will at large appear Together
with all said Signatures, the buildings, improvements, rights, members and appurtenances.
Whatever ?????? ?????? belonging or in anywise appertaining and the revisions and
remainders ???? if ??? profits thereof. To have and to hold all and singular the Premises
hereby remised and released or mentioned or intended so to be with the appurtenances unto
the said George Fitting, Henry Fitting, and George Geety and Elizabeth his wife, their
heirs and assigns forever , so that neither the said John Fitting, Benjamin Fitting, Henry
Fox and Catrina his wife, and George Zeiter and Margaret his wife, Daniel Betz and Mary
his wife and Phillip Michael Michael <sic> and Susanna his wife, not their heirs or
any other person or persons whosoever lawfully claiming or to claim by, from or under them
or any of them Shall or may at any time or times hereafter have Claim Challenge or demand
any estate right title, or interest of, within or out of the said misuage? as before said
here ditaments? and premises hereby remised and released with the appurtenances or any
part or parcel thereof both thereof and therefrom Shall & will be wholly excluded and
forever debarred by these presents in writings whereof the parties to these presents have
hereunto interchangeably set their hands and seals this Seventh day of April, 1826. |

We and each of us Do hereby acknowledge that we have received on the say of the date of
the written release of and from the within named George Fitting, Henry Fitting, George
Geety and Elizabeth his wife Seven Hundred and Thirty Six dollars in full of the
consideration money therein mentioned.

Dauphin County S.S._____ Before me the subscribers one of the Justices of the Peace in
and for the County of Dauphin, personally came and appeared the within named John Fitting,
Benjamin Fitting, Henry Fox and Catrina his wife, George Zeiter and Margaret his wife,
Daniel Betz and Mary his wife, and Phillip Michael and Susanna his wife and severally
acknowledged the foregoing release deed to be their act and deed to the intent that as
such as it might be recorded. In testimony I have hereunto set my hand and seal the 7th
Day of aprith in the year of our Lord one-thousand eight hundred and twenty eight.
