Will of Lucetta Fitting

The last Will and testament of Lucetta Fitting.

I, Lucetta Fitting considering the uncertainty of this Mortal Life and being of Sound mind and Memory, Blessed be Almighty God for the Same, do make and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form following, that is to Say.

First, I give and bequeath unto my Surviving Children the property now owned by me Situate in East Hanover and Union Townships Lebanon County State of Pennsylvania. Furthermore I Do Declare that my husband Daniel B. Fitting Shall live thereon and therefrom. So long as he Shall live and after his Death the Real estate shall be equally divided among my lawful Surviving Children and Furthermore I do declare that if he the said Daniel B. Fitting cannot earn money enough to pay the debt now on the real estate he Shall then have the power to Sell of the Personal property to pay the Same debt.

And I do by this my last will revoke all former wills by me made.

In witness whereof I have hereunto Set my hand and Seal the nineteenth day of November in the year of our lord one thousand eight hundred and seventy one, (1871)

The above instrument constituting of one Sheet was now here Subscribed by Lucetta Fitting the Testatrix in the presence of each of us and was at the Same time declared by her to be her last will and testament and we at her request sign our names hereto as attested witnesses.
