These links will take you to transcripts of deeds and other legal documents that have
been filed with the Dauphin County Land Records.These documents are not always land transfers. They may be agreements, intestate
settlements and actual land transfers. Sometimes this material can provide a wealth of
information for the researcher.
As an example, the Henry Keen Power of Attorney was filed almost 25 years after his
death. It was a power of attorney document for his heirs so they could dispose of
Henry's property. It provided family links that I have not been able to document anywhere
else.
