1. McALLISTER'S or McALLISTER'S TOWN-in Susquehanna twp, at Fort Hunter,
Dauphin county, along the Susquehanna River.
2. BRUSHY ROCKVILLE-another name for Rockville
3. McKEE'S FORT or TRADING POST-25 miles north of Fort Hunter, along Susquehanna
River
4. PORTSMOUTH-located between Middletown & Susquehanna River; it is where
the Emmaus Home Stands; Dauphin county
5. FREDRICKSTOWN-Hummelstown
6. ROCKTOWN-in Londonderry Twp., Dauphin county
7. Coxetown-in Susquehanna Twp., on the banks of the Susquehanna River, it's
cemetery was moved to Harrisburg orHarrisburg East Cemetery &
was surrounded by a metal fence.
8. GREENSBURG-in the town of Dauphin, Dauphin county
9. PORT LYON-in the town of Dauphin; area of Canal & Schuykill Streets; a
tavern once stood there.
10. EMALINE FURNACE-is at the mouth of Clarke's Creek, Dauphin county
11. GEORGETOWN-is now Dalmatia, upper Dauphin county
12. ST. THOMAS, village of- is Linglestown, Dauphin county
13. SHREINERTOWN-area of 1600 block of Briggs Street, Harrisburg, Dauphin
County
14. ESTERTOWN or ESTERTON-northern suburbs of Harrisburg, just south of
Heckton;it is exactly across the river from Enola on the West Shore.
15. HECKTON-the area along the Susquehanna River between Esterton and Fort
Hunter
16. ENGLETOWN-between Reiley & Maclay Streets, from the west side of 2nd to
the east side of 3rd streets, including
Penn,Green, Susquehanna, and all cross
streets. Developed 1890-1910 by Benjamin Engle & others, most
homes are of Queen Ann & Italianate design.

18. STUMPSTOWN or STUMPSETTLE-now called Fredricsburg, Lebanon county
