PENBROOK. Which lies just beyond Reservoir Park, on the line of the Harrisburg Railways
and on the highway which connects with the eastern end of State Street and runs on to
Jonestown, is also one of the modern residential suburbs of Harrisburg. It lies in a rich
and fertile valley, surrounded by splendid farms. The dairying interests are becoming
permanent industries of this entire section. Penbrook contains a number of good churches,
banks, stores and fine school buildings.
